Episode 26

The winners of Sunday’s WA Team Challenge were taken to the beautiful Margaret River wine region, where they learned they’d be competing in an Invention Test, with the winner getting a double shot at Immunity. The core ingredients were unveiled and chosen in a lottery - king crab, Margaret River venison, goat, rock lobster, lamb rump, Jarrahdene pork, scallops, marron, veal, and ostrich eggs. Joining Gary, Matt and George on the judging panel was Clairault’s head chef Jake Drachenberg. The two best dishes of the Test were deemed to be Michael’s – who cooked with goat, and Jay’s – who prepared a marron dish. Despite the judges admitting there was very little difference in terms of quality, it was Jay who ultimately took the win.
