The contestants were shocked to discover that this week’s Team Challenge would be whisking them away to Westren Australia. Final destination: the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. They divided into teams – Jay captaining the Blues and Danielle the Reds – and were given their task: of preparing the menus and cooking for the hungry miners - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The winners would be treated to two days in the Margaret River wine region, while the losers would have to return to work another kitchen shift. It was a close contest, both teams having their share of culinary mishaps, but the Blues’ triumphant breakfast service saw them win a narrow miners’ vote majority
