Episode 65

The Elimination Challenge took place at Sylvia's restaurant in Harlem. On the menu: soul food. While the contestants had to deal with cooking ribs, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and other soulful delights (all without the aid of a recipe), Alana and Ellie enjoyed their lunch and Masterclass with guest Daniel Boulud. In the Elimination cook-off  Dani struggled with labels - adding salt to her sauce rather than sugar - while Sun lost her cool after discovering there was no free fryer available to cook her chicken. Billy was chosen as the standout performer of the Challenge, but Sun's undercooked chicken was enough to bring an end to her MasterChef journey.
